The priority issue of the Roma community is access to basic education, maintaining students in secondry school and then gaining access to training for modern professions. Typically, teenagers do not even finish their education to eighth class. Obstacles include having to stay home to help parents with their younger siblings or with the parent’s work. In addition, many girls get pregnant and start families of their own at an early age, and generally aren’t motivated to do well in school. The heart of this project is to give a future and a hope to those young people who can’t see any.
Our goal is to support the teenagers of Budila to become productive, self-sufficient individuals who contribute to society.
