For as long as I can remember, I have felt a pull towards Romania’s children. I first came to Romania in 2010, and discovered FFR’s amazing projects and team of dedicated volunteers. I’ve been returning each summer since, until recently when God asked me to stay long-term.
My specific passion is in working with children with disabilities, where I have the opportunity to use my occupational therapy skills to increase their quality of life. I’m happy to share ideas and education that will benefit the children’s development, but equally have learned so much from each person I have met along the way. The children and people of Romania have most definitely claimed a piece of my heart.
