From my early teenage years I had a passion for helping to make a difference to the lives of those in need. In 2015 I was able to fulfil this passion after having discovered FFR and read about the amazing work being done in a number of projects. From the very first day I arrived in the beautiful city in Brasov I knew that this was where I was meant to be and I am so thankful to FFR for making it possible for volunteers to help make a difference to the lives of abandoned and semi-abandoned babies and children at the hospital and Codlea by holding, loving and caring for them.
Since my first day at the hospital and Codlea, I have enjoyed every moment holding and loving the Romanian and Roma babies and children, and working alongside the many wonderful volunteers that I get to know. It is so wonderful to see the joy on the babies and children’s faces when we walk into the room and I truly believe that together we are making a difference.
The dedication of the FFR leadership team and volunteers is remarkable and I am so honoured to be part of such a great team.
